Is this poetry and art if you keep an open mind and search for meaning ?
I open a box and grab hold of a beautiful colourful south american bird and place it into a large wooden cage.
then, I open another box and I grab a very angry ferral cat that I have named ’scratchy’.
I put scratchy into the cage too.
I then let the audience view the interaction between the two – on HD footage projected onto a wall accompanied to a piece of mozart. I light a cigar and watch the expressions on our faces as the birdy is ripped to shreds.
Its beautiful. Its tragic. Its nature. Its just the way it had to be.
Then I place a bit pull terrier with a temperament into a cage alongside a Tiger….
Why do you all look at me with contempt ? This is art !
